I'm ecstatic Colin Kaepernick turned out to be so good which gives me great hope for
our future beyond Alex, BUT QB controversies should be reserved for the
off-season, training camp, and/or pre-season. When your starter (Alex)
leads the NFL in completion percentage and as of Saturday was 3rd in the
NFL in QB rating you don't bench him for the "hot hand". What happens when CK gets a cold hand? To which that better not happen
in the playoffs! Over at the pressdemocrat there was a transcript of
Harbaugh referencing his playing days and he said something to the
effect that the whole QB starter decision was usually always centered
around who was struggling less should get the start. Well in this
situation I feel like truly Alex has done no wrong to lose this job.
With the exception of the Giants and Seahawks game, he has had a
phenomenal season. Look at all the starters on play-off bound teams and
they've all had mediocre to bad games this season, yet none have been
benched for the back-up. Harbaugh needs to start Alex from here on out.
